Giving Back to the Community

The Exan Group is committed to not only being an industry leader, but a leader in the community as well. We encourage our staff to volunteer, and are continuously looking for new and innvoative ways to give back to our local communities.

Mission Possible 

The Exan Group is proud to be a donor and active volunteer for Mission Possible in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES). Exan Group continues to grow as a partner of Mission Possible, including being the presenting sponsor for Mission Possible’s Annual Gala in November, 2011.

People. Purpose. Paycheque. Mission Possible (MP) provides opportunities for people challenged by homelessness and poverty on the DTES. MP helps people experience dignity and purpose through meaningful work by creating jobs that lead people to lasting change.

MP uses the creativity of social entrepreneurship to employ individuals with job readiness in a variety of ways: MP Maintenance, MP Recycling, MP Ambassadors and MP Community. Alongside their social enterprises, MP provides job training and life coaching as they work side by side their employees to help employees achieve purpose in their lives.
